Father's Day Gifts Family
Most Father's Day gifts get used up. Another mug, another set of grill tools, another bottle of something that is gone by July. I make the other kind, the gift that ends up on a wall or a desk and is still there years later. What tends to land: a home bar or man cave sign with the name he gave his corner of the garage, a coordinates piece marking a place that means something to him, the lake, the cabin, the field he grew up on, or a photo turned into a wood sign. Everything is cut and finished by hand in Spring, Texas, and most orders are in hand in about 3 to 4 days, so a last-minute Father's Day is usually still fine if you order early in the week.
One thing worth saying: get the personalization specific. A sign that just says a last name is nice. A sign with the name of his bar, or the coordinates of the spot he taught you to fish, is the one he actually keeps.
