This “Welcome” sign makes a statement right away thanks to its large size—it really stands out, especially over a doorway or window like I have it. It’s very well made from heavy metal, and you can feel the quality as soon as you pick it up. The finish is a smooth matte black which is simple but very attractive, fitting in nicely with a variety of décor styles.It is on the more expensive side, but compared to similar signs you might find at home goods stores, this one is noticeably larger and heavier, so the price feels justified.My only complaint is that there are solid metal pegs on the back that don’t seem to serve a clear purpose and prevent it from laying flush against a wall or window. This is a beautiful, high quality, heavy duty "welcome" sign from aydan's unique finds. Laser cut from 1/16" thick steel, and finished with a durable black powder coating, this is a greeting that was built to withstand the elements and last for years. My sign arrived boxed, bubble wrapped, and in perfect condition. It measures 27 1/2" wide, is 9" tall at the letter "l" and approximately 5 1/4" tall across the shorter letters. This is a large, substantial sign that will not go unnoticed. It includes pre-installed adjustable sawtooth hangers on the back, and spacers that make it stand out from the wall to add depth and dimension. This is a thoughtfully crafted, premium piece of exterior decor, and I absolutely love it. This sign has enough weight to it that it doesn’t feel cheap or hollow. Once it’s in your hands, it feels like something that’s meant to stay up long term instead of something temporary.The raised mounting design is one of the better features. The welded standoffs keep it off the wall slightly, which gives it a layered look instead of sitting flat. It makes it stand out more without needing anything extra around it.Hanging it is straightforward with the welded hooks on the back. Once it’s up, it sits evenly and doesn’t shift or tilt, which is something I always check for with wall pieces.Where it misses for me is the personalization. It’s labeled as custom, but what I received didn’t reflect that. I expected at least some input or follow-up to customize it, especially considering how it’s listed.You can also see slight unevenness along the edges where it was cut by hand. It doesn’t affect how it functions, but it’s noticeable if you’re looking closely. It works as a basic sign, but it doesn’t fully meet the expectation that comes with something labeled personalized.
This is a beautiful metal welcome sign! I was really tickled with the size and style altho I was a little concerned about how well it will hang and stay attached. The hangers are plastic instead of metal and feel a bit flimsy. The sign itself is very sturdy. This would make a nice gift! Oh and spelling was correct, thankfully!
This welcome sign is great. The edges are all smooth and it’s a great weight. It feels very well made and sturdy. I love the size of it! It’s hard to find signs this size for this price. I like it a lot.
